Rollins College in Florida recently enforced a policy that would keep students from having an informal Bible study in a common room. In addition to this, the requirement by Intervarsity (A Christian College Group) to have Christians be in leadership is being considered discriminatory. The obvious question is, “Why would a non-Christian want to be in leadership for a Christian group?” Apparently this is an issue. It is also another way that religious liberty is being taken away. The new religion is tolerance and its followers aren’t very tolerant, requiring you to worship and believe as they do or your rights will be taken away and your reputation tarnished. This is a sign of the times. Christians are being moved to the margins of society, like they were in the New Testament era. The question we have to ask is if our faith will stand in the midst of things like this that are regularly happening.
